We welcome documented corrections, additional primary source materials relevant to published exhibits, and press inquiries. We do not accept anonymous tips as the basis for findings.
What to send
What we want to hear about.
- Documented corrections — if a published finding is factually incorrect and you can support the correct information with primary source documentation
- Additional source materials — primary source documents relevant to a published exhibit that are not already in the record
- Press inquiries — journalists and researchers with questions about published findings or methodology
- Legal correspondence — addressed to the organization at the email below
What not to send
What we cannot act on.
- Anonymous tips without accompanying documentation
- Allegations unsupported by primary source records
- Requests to remove published findings
- Requests to publish findings that do not meet our documentary standard
Our standard applies equally to what comes in as to what goes out. An assertion that something is wrong — or right — is not sufficient without documentation.
